BIO
Her background in art, architecture, and interior design has shaped a distinctive approach to creating murals and decorative finishes—one that brings together craftsmanship, imagination, and a deep understanding of the spaces she transforms.
“Art has been part of my whole life; the act of creating art is an encounter with my inner self, which merges with my imagination and helps me maintain an inner balance.”
In 2023, Elizabeth expanded her artistic practice by beginning a series of sculptural works inspired by iconic handbags. Using a diverse range of materials—including epoxy resin, glass tiles, metallic pigments, and crystals— she transforms recognizable designs into intricate, one-of- a-kind works of art.
Her artworks have been exhibited in galleries and at international art fairs in Palm Beach, Miami, New York, Paris, and Dubai, bringing her work to diverse audiences and art communities around the world.
Elizabeth discovered her passion for art at an early age, recreating the works of renowned artists. Her natural curiosity and dedication to painting continued to develop throughout her youth. After high school, she further refined her artistic skills through oil painting, capturing the beauty of Colombian and Italian landscapes.
Her interest in art and design eventually led her to pursue formal studies in Architectural Drafting and Interior Design, earning her degree from a professional institute in Colombia. She went on to work for a well-known interior design firm in Cali for ten years, gaining extensive experience in interiors, architecture, and the relationship between art and space.
In 2002, driven by a desire to pursue greater opportunities as an artist, Elizabeth moved to Florida with little more than her artist’s brushes, a couple of suitcases, and big dreams. Largely self-taught as an artist, she has continued to evolve throughout her career, exploring a variety of mediums, techniques, and artistic expressions.
